Dr. Avrutin graduated with his dental degree in 1978 from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery, New York and with his Master's degree in Public Health from Columbia University School of Public Health. He then completed his General Practice Residency at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center, Bronx, New York, where advanced restorative dentistry on medically compromised patients in a hospital setting was emphasized.

Dr. Statman graduated with his dental degree in 1985 from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Philadelphia, PA. He then completed his Advanced Dental Fellowship at The University of Pennsylvania where he had a concentration in periodontal prosthesis; including advanced crown and bridge cases, gum surgery, and orthodontics.

Dr. Alexis Fermanis was born and raised in Riverdale, New York. She attended Cornell University where she received her B.S. degree in 1998. After college she returned to New York City and completed dental school at Columbia University. She worked as a general dentist for a year at Montefiore Hospital and then returned to Columbia to continue her specialty training and received her Masters degree in orthodontics.
Dr. Fermanis is a member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association. She stays abreast of the latest advances in her field through her membership in various study clubs.
In her spare time Dr. Fermanis enjoys running, cooking and traveling.
Dr. Stieglitz graduated from New York University School of Dentistry in 1973 and continued at NYU to received his post-graduate degree in endodontics in 1978. His professional affiliations include:
